Relationships with Schools, Colleges and Universities

''Working with Engineering Academy at E.ON has given our students the unique opportunity to contextualise their learning and to see at first hand the career opportunities that they could aspire to. It has also given us opportunity as a school to show the talent that a lot of our students have across the STEM subjects, and who are likely to feed the Engineering sector in the future."

Matt Smallwood, Wednesfield High School

We're passionate about working with schools, colleges and universities to help raise the visibility of careers in engineering and the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths as key subjects in education.

At the Engineering Academy we work with stakeholder groups to develop and deliver E.ON's strategy for tackling the known skills gap in engineering facing the UK.

We work with professional institutions such as the IET, IMechE and Royal Academy of Engineering to make sure that the training and development we're offering includes the latest up to date information. These relationships also mean that we can offer our colleagues and customers exclusive events and access to guest speakers.
